August 20, 2025: Henderson, NC 27537 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) and the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC), saw Vance County's soccer squad triumph over Wake Prep Academy by a count of 5-0.
With the triumph, Vance County moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to meet the Wonders in a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. The Wonders come into the match with a record of 1-2. A.L. Brown won 4-2 in their recent non-league match against Concord Academy (Concord, NC)
The Guardians now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Henderson Collegiate for a non-league match on Thursday, August 21. Wake Prep Academy will meet a Pride team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-1.
