Georgia High School Softball - Bowdon bounces Haralson County
August 21, 2023: Bowdon, GA 30108 Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pepperell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Bowdon will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Model (Rome, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Haralson County falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a 2A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Rockmart won 11-7 in their recent league challenge against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)
