Georgia High School Softball - Dooly County loses to Wheeler County
August 21, 2023: Alamo, GA 30411 The Wheeler County Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Dooly County Bobcats to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Wheeler County moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-2. Wilkinson County lost 27-7 in their recent non-league game against Washington County (Sandersville, GA)
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 4 game, on Thursday, August 24. Dooly County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 12-4 league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).
