Michigan High School Soccer - Fruitport knocks off Whitehall
August 21, 2024: Fruitport, MI 49415 The Fruitport Trojans soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Whitehall Vikings to 2 in the Trojans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Trojans now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Belding for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27. Fruitport will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Ionia (Ionia, MI). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Whitehall moves to 0-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI) to play the Sailors in a non-league bout on Friday, August 23. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Mona Shores won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Grandville (Grandville, MI)
