Michigan High School Soccer - Fruitport knocks off Montague
September 26, 2024: Montague, MI 49437 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) and the host Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI), saw Fruitport's soccer squad triumph over Montague by a score of 5-0.
The Trojans (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Spring Lake tipped Hamilton (Hamilton, MI), 4-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI) in a Western Michigan battle, on Monday, September 30. Montague will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 4-8 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Ludington (Ludington, MI).
