California High School Football - Chaparral thwarted by San Juan Hills
August 21, 2025: Temecula, CA 92591 San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 40-21 in a non-league test.
The Stallions now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. San Juan Hills will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over King (Riverside, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Chaparral drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pumas host San Clemente (San Clemente, CA) to meet the Tritons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Tritons come into the test with a record of 0-0. San Clemente 3-3 in their recent non-league test against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)
