California High School Football - Chico holds off Nevada Union
August 21, 2025: Chico, CA 95926 The Chico Panthers football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Nevada Union Miners to 12 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4.
With the defeat, Nevada Union drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Miners host Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 0-1. Bella Vista lost 13-8 in their recent non-league test against Oakmont (Roseville, CA)
