September 25, 2025: Lincoln, CA 95648 Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) followers were content Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA), 46-26 in a non-league match.
The Miners (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Raging Rhinos come into the match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Twelve Bridges was beaten by Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA), 34-8, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Zebras now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Woodcreek for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Lincoln will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 44-7 non-league loss to Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-4.
