With the win, Enka advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Jets travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to encounter the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Tuscola won 38-6 in their recent non-league bout against Owen (Black Mountain, NC)
The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host R-S Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. North Henderson will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 16-12 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-0.
