The Elgin Owls softball team scored 19 runs and held the host MacArthur Highlanders to 2 in the Owls league win on Thursday.

The Owls now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Altus for a 5A District 1 battle on Monday, August 25. Elgin will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Noble (Noble, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 2-6 on the season. The Highlanders host Eisenhower (Lawton, OK) to confront the Eagles in a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, August 26.
