Georgia High School Volleyball - Mary Persons tips Academy for Classical Education

August 21, 2025: Forsyth, GA 31029

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Mary Persons Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons.

The Bulldogs (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Lake Oconee Academy nudged Social Circle (Social Circle, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Gryphons now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Academy for Classical Education will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
