The Summit Spartans volleyball squad (Spring Hill, TN), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN)

With the win, Brentwood improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Franklin (Franklin, TN) to encounter the Admirals in a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. The Admirals enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Franklin won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Gallatin (Gallatin, TN)

Next, the Spartans battle the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Summit will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The go into the battle with a 19-68 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC).
