August 21, 2025: Florence, AL 35634 Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL), 25-21 in a non-league test.
With the win, Brooks improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Marion County (Guin, AL) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Marion County won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL)
Next, the Pirates meet the Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Morgan (Trinity, AL).
