August 21, 2025: Lumberton, TX 77657 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) and the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), observed Lumberton's volleyball team top Cayuga by a count of 2-0.
The Raiders (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Chester dropped by Naaman Forest (Garland, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarkington for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Cayuga will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-8.
