Mississippi High School Volleyball - Crystal Springs bounced by Port Gibson
August 21, 2025: Port Gibson, MS 39150 The Crystal Springs Tigers volleyball squad (Crystal Springs, MS), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS)
The Blue Waves (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson County (Fayette, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 3A Region 7 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson County was beaten by South Pike (Magnolia, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Crystal Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Franklin County (Meadville, MS).
