September 23, 2025: Hazlehurst, MS 39083 The Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) volleyball knocked off the host Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Blue Waves now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Amite County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Port Gibson will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Hazlehurst drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Franklin County (Meadville, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class 3A Region 7 contest on Thursday, September 25.
