The Delta Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Jay County Patriots to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Yorktown for a Hoosier Heritage game on Tuesday, August 26.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Winchester Community nudged Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
