Indiana High School Volleyball - Muncie Central can't hold off Delta

September 23, 2025: Muncie, IN 47305

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) volleyball squad got by the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Delta improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN) to battle the Golden Bears in a Hoosier Heritage contest on Saturday, September 27. The Golden Bears enter the contest with a record of 9-13. Shelbyville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN)

Next, the Bearcats battle the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Muncie Central will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN).
