The Silver Creek Dragons volleyball squad (Sellersburg, IN), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN)

With the win, Floyd Central improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Highlanders travel to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY) to encounter the Crimsons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Crimsons go into the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Dragons now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scottsburg for a Mid-Southern battle on Tuesday, August 26. Silver Creek will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Henryville (Henryville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.
