Minnesota High School Volleyball - Houston overwhelmed by Southland

The Southland Rebels topped the host Houston Hurricanes volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Rebels now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Schaeffer Academy for a Southeast outing on Monday, August 25. Southland will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Houston drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN) to confront the Athletics in a Southeast game on Tuesday, August 26. The Athletics go into the game with a record of 0-1. Lyle/Pacelli lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN)
