Minnesota High School Volleyball - Houston bounced by Mabel-Canton

September 30, 2025: Mabel, MN 55954

Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN). The Wolverines go into the Southeast test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Glenville-Emmons was defeated by Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Hurricanes now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingsland for a Southeast test on Thursday, October 2. Houston will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southland (Adams, MN). The Knights record now stands at 2-12.
