In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Overhills Jaguars.

Next up, the Cavaliers face the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles (Erwin, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 25. Southern Lee will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC).
