In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Sparkman Senators volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the St. John Paul II Falcons.

The Senators (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.

Next, the Falcons meet the Valor College Prep Wildcats (Nashville, TN) in a non-league outing, on Friday, August 22. St. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
