In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Grissom Tigers.

The Falcons (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against West Limestone (Lester, AL). The Wildcats go into the 4A Area 15 test with a 11-9 record.

The Tigers now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sparkman for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23.
