In Monday's non-league contest, the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) volleyball squad knocked off the host Foundation Christian Academy Falcons (Bowling Green, KY), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a District 16 contest, on Tuesday, August 23. Metcalfe County will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
