August 22, 2023: Kennesaw, GA 30152 The Cherokee Warriors softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Cherokee moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-0. Mount Paran Christian won 10-6 in their recent non-league game against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a 7A Region 5 game, on Thursday, August 24. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to Walton (Marietta, GA).
