August 22, 2023: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 The Franklin County Eagles topped the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 24. Franklin County will confront a Comets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Comets record now stands at 1-3.
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fleming was knocked off by Martinsville (Martinsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
