North Carolina High School Football - Pine Forest thwarted by Cape Fear
August 22, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28312 Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 22-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cape Fear advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Colts host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Seventy-First for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. Pine Forest will play a Falcons team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
