Georgia High School Softball - Southwest Georgia Academy bounces Tiftarea Academy
August 22, 2024: Chula, GA 31733 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors softball team scored a nice 21-0 win over the Tiftarea Academy Panthers.
The Warriors (9-0) will now prepare for their match against Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Terrell Academy was routed by Southland Academy (Americus, GA), 8-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 27. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over The King's Academy (Woodstock, GA).
