August 22, 2024: Whittier, CA 90604 The Paramount Pirates edged the host California Condors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Pirates face the Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 26. Paramount will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mayfair (Lakewood, CA).
The Condors (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Bell Gardens nudged South Hills (West Covina, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
