August 22, 2024: Compton, CA 90222 Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Dominguez improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dons travel to Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA) to face the Roadrunners in a non-league test on Friday, August 23. The Roadrunners go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Apaches now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Compton Early College for a non-league test on Friday, August 23. Centennial will face a Rising Phoenix squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Compton (Compton, CA). The Rising Phoenix record now stands at 1-1.
