August 22, 2024: Covington, GA 30014 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) and the visiting Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), observed Eastside's volleyball team top Peachtree Academy by a count of 2-0.
The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Walnut Grove was knocked off by Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Panthers battle the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 23. Peachtree Academy will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Community Christian (Stockbridge, GA).
