August 22, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28216 The West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mallard Creek for a Queen City 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, August 27. West Charlotte will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Garinger drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Butler (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Southwestern 4A bout on Tuesday, August 27. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-2.
