Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Rocky River improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Ravens host East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Southwestern 4A test on Thursday, September 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-5. East Mecklenburg won 3-0 in their recent league test against Providence (Charlotte, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sugar Creek for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. Garinger will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 0-0 league Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
