California High School Volleyball - Redlands over Paloma Valley
August 22, 2024: Menifee, CA 92584 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Redlands Terriers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Paloma Valley Wildcats.
The Terriers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Poly (Riverside, CA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Poly beat Liberty (Winchester, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Liberty Bison (Winchester, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Paloma Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Poly (Riverside, CA).
Match Summary
Redlands travelled to Menifee to face the Paloma Valley Wildcats. This was the second of a home-and-home. On 8/23/23, at Terrier Gym, the Terriers won by a similar margin: 3-0, 25-15, 25-21, 25-12. Last year's Paloma Valley Team would go on to win the Ivy League with a 7-1 record and reach the second round of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs. Redlands was excellent in blocking and service. Redlands only had four service errors out of 73 attempts, and 11 total blocks. Up next for the Terriers is their annual game against Riverside Poly, and then the Kamehameha Labor Day Classic in Hawaii.
