Match Summary
Redlands visited Chaparral (Temecula) in what was supposed to be a home game. Unfortunately, the long-overdue air conditioner still has not been installed in Terrier Gym. Host Chaparral had a very comfortable, air-conditioned gym, and even brought the Terrriers water on ice during a 108 degree day.
Redlands won its first match since the Kamehameha Labor Day Classic, which ended in two losses on the final day of the Gold Division playoff.
Host Chaparral played very tightly, leading or keeping up with Redlands in all three sets. Ultimately, the Terriers had a stronger serve-receive and service game, and prevailed 3-0. Redlands plays next at Etiwanda, one of only two San Bernardino County teams that they have lost to this season (in the Mountain View Invitational at Norco High School).
