In Friday's non-league game, the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) football team edged the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), by a margin of 14-10.

The Rams now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. T.C. Roberson will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 56-7 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Huss drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bessemer City won 14-10 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)
