August 22, 2025: Germantown, TN 38139 Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) fans were in high spirits Friday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), 3-0 in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Hendersonville for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Bearden will play a Commandos squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Commandos record now stands at 0-0.
The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Signal Mountain by Baylor (Chattanooga, TN), 4-1, in a non-league game.
