August 22, 2025: Howe, OK 74940 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Dale Pirates (Dale, OK) and the host Howe Lions (Howe, OK), saw Dale's softball squad nip Howe by a score of 4-0.
With the triumph, Dale improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Pirates travel to Morrison (Morrison, OK) to face the Wildcats in a 2A contest on Friday, August 29. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 4-1.
The Lions now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Broken Bow for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. Howe will face a Savages squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Norman North (Norman, OK). The Savages record now stands at 2-2.
