Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX) and the visiting Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), observed Thrall's volleyball team top Blanco by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Thrall improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Giddings (Giddings, TX) to encounter the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 8-12. Giddings won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)

The Panthers now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fredericksburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. Blanco will meet a Billies team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Billies record now stands at 2-7.
