The Horizon Scorpions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Irvin Rockets to 0 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Socorro for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Horizon will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clint (Clint, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
