Texas High School Volleyball - Lanier John Paul II
August 22, 2025: New Braunfels, TX 78132 John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Guardians (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Southwest Legacy gained a win over Southside (San Antonio, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
The Voks now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, August 26. Lanier will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-10.
