The John Paul II Guardians volleyball squad (New Braunfels, TX), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX)

With the win, Boerne improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, August 26. The Thunderbirds enter the contest with a record of 0-9. Wagner lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX)

The Guardians now own a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Academy for a non-league test on Friday, August 29.
