In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Manton Rangers volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the St. Francis Gladiators.

With the win, Manton improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Rangers travel to Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to face the Stags in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. The Stags go into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Gladiators now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. St. Francis will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Holland Christian (Holland, MI). The Rams record now stands at 4-0.
