The Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Porter Spartans (Porter, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. Sweeny will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Tomas (Richmond, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 3-6.
