Indiana High School Volleyball - Avon overwhelmed by Carmel

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Carmel Greyhounds volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Avon Orioles.

The Greyhounds (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Yorktown defeated Delta (Muncie, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Orioles encounter the Noblesville Millers (Noblesville, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads battle, on Thursday, August 25. Avon will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Millers come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN).
