The Mineral Ridge Rams volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Western Reserve Blue Devils to 1 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Thursday, August 25. Mineral Ridge will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 3-0 league loss to McDonald (McDonald, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-1.

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Waterloo (Atwater, OH). The Vikings enter the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Waterloo notched a victory over McKinley (Sebring, OH), 3-0, in a league outing.
