August 23, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110 Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Panthers battle the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 24. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
With the loss, Union Academy drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 29. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 1-1. Sun Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
