In Friday's non-league game, the Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS) football team overcame the visiting Leake Academy Rebels (Madden, MS), by a tally of 31-23.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Pillow Academy Mustangs (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Jackson Academy will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
