Mississippi High School Football - Pillow Academy loses to Jackson Academy
August 30, 2024: Jackson, MS 39211 Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs (Greenwood, MS), 24-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Jackson Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Silliman Institute (Clinton, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Silliman Institute won 21-14 in their recent non-league battle against Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA)
The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson Prep for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Pillow Academy will play a Patriots team coming off a 37-7 non-league win over Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
